Beautiful, but I never know if its on anymore!

Our prior dishwasher has lasted us 15 years. We lucked into a floor model high-end 48dB closeout model, and I was amazed at how quiet the thing was. It was noticeable, but very soft compared to anything we'd even owned before.
...
Now, I don't even know when the dishwasher is running anymore!
There are some GREAT features packed into this unit. The 42dB whisper-quiet run is foremost; however, after that, the range of wash modes, the Stormwash option, adjustable racks, fingerprint resistance (that REALLY works), the energy & water efficiency, and most-notably, the TOP UTENSIL RACK has been an amazing addition!
So often, utensils get clumped together and need to go through multiple cycles, this rack fixes that AND opens up that bottom rack for additional dishes! Brilliant!
Caked detergent & standing water on top of glasses is a thing of the past: the auto-open feature helps vent the moisture while the drying finishes, so the toweling-off is barely a thought anymore.
I still need to get used to the plastic shaping in the top/bottom racks & how best to utilize that space (though from the photos, you can see I still manage to make it work!), and I do need to train myself to not just open the dishwasher anymore since it might be running - but these are all transition oddities for someone too used to making due with an aging unit.
My only real qualm is the length of the cycle -- 2.5 hours seems excessive for a standard wash. I'm not sure if this is a tradeoff to minimize noise or not, but it would be nice to have a quicker option by default (it does seem the express option does a good job, so not sure why that isn't able to be made default). Able to be worked around, but would be nice to have as default for those of us impatient-types!
Now lets talk smart home... when can I say, "[Device], start my Samsung dishwasher" :)
